"I went to see (name withheld) this weekend. She really wants to know the Lord. Badly. I could feel Gods presence when we spoke this weekend. This is not her first time in jail. I actually used to teach her in class the first time I met her in jail back when I went into A Pod. I could never forget her prayer request when she returned to jail a few months ago.

She was in the Bible study with two full black eyes and broken bones. Her only prayer request was for prayer for the people that did that to her. It filled and stopped my heart for sure. She told me she tries to pray for them on her own and it doesn’t work. She wants a safe place to open up about God and to really learn how to lean on Him. She is currently homeless for when she is released and hoping for guidance from the Reentry Program on where she can try to go that’s safe." Elizabeth, Bible Study Leader and Mentor
